Co-National Director, Renewable Energy Industry Practice, Cohn Reznick
Timothy Kemper, CPA, is a partner in CohnReznick and serves as Co-National Director of the Firm’s Renewable Energy Industry Practice. His clients include major publicly-held Fortune 500 companies; private equity funds; and renewable energy-related entities—such as investors, entrepreneurs, developers, manufacturers and installers, and independent power producers utilizing such technologies as wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass. Tim provides his prestigious clientele with financial counseling for complex transactions, including tax credits, financial structuring and modeling, underwriting, valuation, capital infusion, due diligence, and grant advisory services.
Tim is also responsible for compliance with partnership tax allocation requirements, examination and analysis of financial forecasts, due diligence, and tax planning and tax compliance reviews for partnerships and corporations. He is experienced in the areas of public and private syndication, work-out situations, and passive activity rules.
Tim remains proactively involved in key associations and regulatory bodies that influence renewable energy policy, and is frequently invited to speak at numerous national and regional conferences hosted by such organizations as Bloomberg, SEIA, and AWEA.
