Daniel Brown is a Director at KeyBanc Capital Markets where he provides investment banking services for renewable energy developers, electric cooperatives and investor owned utilities.
Prior to KeyBanc, Daniel began his professional career as an Engineer at Ontario Power Generation's Darlington Nuclear Generating Station. He has also held engineering roles in the aerospace, and automotive industries.
Daniel is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Birchwood School where he chairs the development committee. He is also member of the Community Advisory Board for Ideastream (PBS / NPR in NorthEast Ohio). He is a 2010 inductee into the Kaleidoscope 40 under 40 club and was highlighted in 2012 Cleveland Crain’s “Who to Watch” in Finance in NorthEast Ohio.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University.
